PART SIX:
Orleans next bright idea was bright indeed and a little Hot. He figured carrying the flames and trying out to be a flambeau carrier would be a little more fun and easier than being a Mardi Gras Indian but then he realized twirling the flames and picking up money was even more work and required balance and skill. Not to mention little Orlean was exhausted only after a short while. The other bead dogs stayed clear of Orlean just in case he came to close to them. They were concerned with his technique. Orlean thought it was fun, but it surely wasn’t what he expected. This still didn’t damper his spirit. He wanted to do something that was a little more upbeat and didn’t risk melting his beads if the flames got to close so Orlean put down his torches and decided he would try one more thing before calling it quits. Now what Orlean? What’s your next “move”?
